गारीमतिदीजो मोगरीबनीकोजायोहै ॥ जिततोबिगारकियो आनकहोमोसोंतुम मैंतोकाहूबातनमें नाहीं तरसायोहै ॥१॥ दधिकी मटकीभरी आंगनमें आनधरीं तोलतोललीजोंभटू जेतोजाको खायोहै ॥ सूरदासप्रभुप्यारे निमिष नहूंजे न्यारे कान्ह जैसोपूत मैंतोपूरेपुन्यनसोंपायोहै ॥२॥

गारीमतिदीजो मोगरीबनीकोजायोहै ॥ जिततोबिगारकियो आनकहोमोसोंतुम मैंतोकाहूबातनमें नाहीं तरसायोहै ॥१॥
“Please do not scold my son. He is the child of a poor woman like me. Come and tell me how much damage He has done. I have never made you wait or troubled you over anything.” ॥१॥

दधिकी मटकीभरी आंगनमें आनधरीं तोलतोललीजोंभटू जेतोजाको खायोहै ॥ सूरदासप्रभुप्यारे निमिष नहूंजे न्यारे कान्ह जैसोपूत मैंतोपूरेपुन्यनसोंपायोहै ॥२॥
“I have brought full pots of curd and placed them in the courtyard. Weigh them and take as much as this little boy has eaten.” Surdas says that the Lord is very dear to His mother, who cannot bear to be separated from Him even for a moment. She says, “It is through the great merit of my good deeds that I have been blessed with a son like Kanha.” ॥२॥
