घरमेंसुं बाहिर उठि आये सब गायनके कान जगावन ॥ जेसें भोर हूंकके खेलें लागे लेले नाम बुलावन ॥१॥ गांग बुलाई धूमर धोरी कारी काजर पीयरी लाल ॥ अपने संग सखासब लीनें लटकत डोलत खरिक गोपाल ॥२॥ अपनी जगाय दाउकी जगाई ओर जगाई सबकी जाय ॥ श्रीविट्ठलगिरिधर सुखपावत व्रजनारिन त्योहार मनाय ॥३॥

घरमेंसुं बाहिर उठि आये सब गायनके कान जगावन ॥
जेसें भोर हूंकके खेलें लागे लेले नाम बुलावन ॥१॥
He rises and comes out of the house to awaken all the cows. At daybreak He begins calling “Hunk! Hunk!”, playfully summoning each cow by name. ॥१॥

गांग बुलाई धूमर धोरी कारी काजर पीयरी लाल ॥
अपने संग सखासब लीनें लटकत डोलत खरिक गोपाल ॥२॥
Lala calls the herd—Dhumar, Dhori, Kari, Kajar, and Piyari. Taking all His sakhas with Him, Gopal walks with a playful, swaying gait toward the cattle enclosure. ॥२॥

अपनी जगाय दाउकी जगाई ओर जगाई सबकी जाय ॥
श्रीविट्ठलगिरिधर सुखपावत व्रजनारिन त्योहार मनाय ॥३॥
After awakening His own cows, He awakens Dau’s cows and then goes to awaken everyone else’s. Shri Vitthal Giridhar finds great joy, while the women of Vraj celebrate the festival. ॥३॥

gharamensun baahir uthi aaye sab gaayanake kaan jagaavan ||
jesen bhor hoonkake khelen laage lele naam bulaavan ||1||

gaang bulaaee dhoomar dhoree kaaree kaajar peeyaree laal ||
apne sang sakhaasab leenen latakat dolat kharik Gopaal ||2||

apnee jagaay daaukee jagaaee or jagaaee sabakee jaay ||
Shreevitthalagiridhar sukhapaavat vrajanaarin tyohaar manaay ||3||
