गिरिधर पीवत दूध शिराय । बैठे अटा घटा देखन को छतना हाथ लगाए ॥१॥ हरित भूमि प्रफुलित द्रुमवेली रही तरुवर लपटाय । तापर धरी सदल रस मंजरी कृष्ण दास बल जाय ॥२॥

गिरिधर पीवत दूध शिराय । बैठे अटा घटा देखन को छतना हाथ लगाए ॥१॥
Giridhar is drinking cooled milk. He sits on the terrace, resting His hand on the parapet as He gazes at the gathering rainclouds. ॥१॥

हरित भूमि प्रफुलित द्रुमवेली रही तरुवर लपटाय । तापर धरी सदल रस मंजरी कृष्ण दास बल जाय ॥२॥
The earth is lush and green, and flowering creepers are entwined around the trees. Upon them are beautiful, fresh blossoms with tender leaves. Krishnadas lovingly offers himself in devotion to this delightful sight. ॥२॥
