गोपालमाई खेलतहैचकडोरी ॥ लरकापांचसातसंगलीने निपटसांकरी खोरी ॥१॥
“O mother, Gopal is playing with a spinning top and its string! He has five or seven boys with Him, and they are playing in a very narrow lane.” ॥१॥

चढघर होंरी झरोखा चितयो सखी लियोमनचोरी ॥ बांएहाथवलैयालीनी अपनोअंचरछोरी ॥२॥
“O sakhi, I went upstairs in my house and looked down from the window. He stole my heart! With my left hand, I held the edge of my veil.” ॥२॥

चारोंनयनमिले जबसन्मुख रसिकहँसे मुखमोर ॥ परमानंददासरतिनागर चितेंलईरतिजोर ॥३॥
