गोपी नेनसों नेन मिलावत ॥ मदन गोपाल छांड ग्वालनसों सन्मुख गेंद चलावत ॥१॥ लेय उठाय राधिका तिहिछिन गोपीजन मुसक्यावत ॥ लीनी घेर ग्वाल सब गोपी काहेन गेंद बतावत ॥२॥ कित डोलत इतरात ग्वालतुम चोरी आन लगावत ॥ कुंभनदास प्रभु गोवरधनधर बातन हीजु बनावत ॥३॥

गोपी नेनसों नेन मिलावत ॥
मदन गोपाल छांड ग्वालनसों सन्मुख गेंद चलावत ॥१॥
The Gopis meet Madan Gopal’s gaze with their own. Leaving the Gwalas, He sends the ball toward the Gopis before Him. ॥१॥

लेय उठाय राधिका तिहिछिन गोपीजन मुसक्यावत ॥
लीनी घेर ग्वाल सब गोपी काहेन गेंद बतावत ॥२॥
At once Radhika picks up the ball, while the Gopis smile. The Gopis surround the Gwalas, saying, “Why should we tell you where the ball is?” ॥२॥

कित डोलत इतरात ग्वालतुम चोरी आन लगावत ॥
“Why are you Gwalas wandering about so proudly? Now you are accusing us of stealing!”

कुंभनदास प्रभु गोवरधनधर बातन हीजु बनावत ॥३॥
Kumbhandas says: Prabhu Govardhandhar playfully keeps the exchange going with His clever words. ॥३॥

ley uthaay Raadhikaa tihichhin gopeejan musakyaavat ||
leenee gher gvaal sab gopee kaahen gend bataavat ||2||

kit dolat itaraat gvaalatum choree aan lagaavat ||
kumbhanadaas prabhu govaradhanadhar baatan heeju banaavat ||3||
