गोपी निपट सयानी लाइ छाक भली बीरियां ॥ भूख लागी अब ही देखत री चढि कदम की डरीयाँ ॥१॥ बैठी पार आइ हों कब की आई नाव यह घरीयां ॥ दीजे बांट छाक घर घर की जब झारी भर धरीयां ॥२॥ ग्वाल सखा सब कहत स्याम सों जेवो पायन परीयां ॥ छीत स्वामी गिरिधरन श्री विट्ठल बहुत निहोर करीयां ॥३॥

गोपी निपट सयानी लाइ छाक भली बीरियां ॥
भूख लागी अब ही देखत री चढि कदम की डरीयाँ ॥१॥
“O gopi, you are very clever—you have brought the meal at just the right time!
I am hungry; I have been watching for you from a branch of the kadamba tree.” ॥१॥

बैठी पार आइ हों कब की आई नाव यह घरीयां ॥
दीजे बांट छाक घर घर की जब झारी भर धरीयां ॥२॥
“I have been sitting on the other bank for so long; the boat has only just arrived.”
“Distribute the food brought from each home, now that the water pitcher has been filled and set down.” ॥२॥

ग्वाल सखा सब कहत स्याम सों जेवो पायन परीयां ॥
छीत स्वामी गिरिधरन श्री विट्ठल बहुत निहोर करीयां ॥३॥
All the cowherd friends say to Shyam, “Please eat—we fall at your feet.”
Chhit Swami’s Giridharan, Shri Vitthal, is entreated with many loving pleas. ॥३॥

bhookh laagee ab hee dekhat ree chadhi kadam kee dareeyaan ||1||

baithee paar aai hon kab kee aaee naav yah ghareeyaan ||
deeje baant chhaak ghar ghar kee jab jhaaree bhar dhareeyaan ||2||

gvaal sakhaa sab kahat syaam son jevo paayan pareeyaan ||
chheet svaamee giridharan Shree Vitthal bahut nihor kareeyaan ||3||
