हाकें हटक हटक गाय ठटक ठटक रही गोकुलकी गली सब सांकरी ॥ जारी अटारी झरोखन मोखन झांकत दुरदुर ठोरठोरते परत कांकरी ॥१॥ चंपकली कुंदकली वरषत रसभरी तामें पुन देखियत लिखेहें आंकरी ॥ नंददासप्रभु जहीं जहीं द्वारें ठाढे होत तहीं तहीं वचन मांगत लटक लटक जात काहूसों हांकरी काहूसें नाकरी ॥२॥

हाकें हटक हटक गाय ठटक ठटक रही गोकुलकी गली सब सांकरी ॥
जारी अटारी झरोखन मोखन झांकत दुरदुर ठोरठोरते परत कांकरी ॥१॥
He gently drives the cows along, while they pause again and again, for all the lanes of Gokul are narrow. From latticed windows, upper rooms, and balconies, people peep out from every side, while little pebbles fall here and there. ॥१॥

चंपकली कुंदकली वरषत रसभरी तामें पुन देखियत लिखेहें आंकरी ॥
नंददासप्रभु जहीं जहीं द्वारें ठाढे होत तहीं तहीं वचन मांगत लटक लटक जात काहूसों हांकरी काहूसें नाकरी ॥२॥
Champak and kund flower-buds are showered upon Him, filling the scene with delight, and beautiful designs can be seen drawn there. Nanddas says: wherever the Lord pauses at a doorway, loving words are spoken to Him; He moves on playfully, calling out to some and teasingly refusing others. ॥२॥

jaaree ataaree jharokhan mokhan jhaankat duradur thorathorate parat kaankaree ||1||

champakalee kundakalee varashat rasabharee taamen pun dekhiyat likhehen aankaree ||
nandadaasaprabhu jaheen jaheen dvaaren thaadhe hot taheen taheen vachan maangat latak latak jaat kaahooson haankaree kaahoosen naakaree ||2||
