हँसत हँसत लालन आयेरी तेरे अंगना ॥ होंतो तेरो रूपदेख ठग रही मेरी आली जोकछु कहि आवे छबिदेख भई मगना ॥१॥ जियकी रिस गई अधिक रुचि वाढी मोहन मोहीरी भयोरी मनलगना ॥ करसों कर गहतहृदयसों लगाय लई मिलेरी गोविंदप्रभु सबसुख निशजगना ॥२॥

हँसत हँसत लालन आयेरी तेरे अंगना ॥  
होंतो तेरो रूपदेख ठग रही मेरी आली जोकछु कहि आवे छबिदेख भई मगना ॥१॥
Smiling, Lal has come into your courtyard. O my sakhi, seeing your beauty I was left completely wonderstruck; anyone who comes intending to say something becomes absorbed on seeing your lovely form. ॥१॥

जियकी रिस गई अधिक रुचि वाढी मोहन मोहीरी भयोरी मनलगना ॥  
करसों कर गहतहृदयसों लगाय लई मिलेरी गोविंदप्रभु सबसुख निशजगना ॥२॥
The displeasure in the heart disappeared, and affection grew even more; Mohan became deeply dear to the heart. Taking each other by the hand, they met with heartfelt affection. Govind Prabhu is the source of every happiness, bringing joy even through the night. ॥२॥

hansat hansat laalan aayeree tere anganaa ||
honto tero roopadekh thag rahee meree aalee jokachhu kahi aave chhabidekh bhaee maganaa ||1||

jiyakee ris gaee adhik ruchi vaadhee mohan moheeree bhayoree manalaganaa ||
karason kar gahatahridayason lagaay laee mileree govindaprabhu sabasukh nishajaganaa ||2||
