हरिकों बीरी खवावत बाला॥ अतिसुगंध बहुविधिसों सँवारी लीजे हो नंदलाला॥१॥
A young maiden feeds Hari a betel roll. “It is richly fragrant and carefully prepared in many ways; please accept it, O Nandalal.” ॥१॥

खासाको कटिधर्यो पिछोरा उरराजतवनमाला॥ मुरारीदास प्रभुकी छबिनिरखत मग्नहोत व्रजबाला॥२॥
He wears a fine cotton wrap around his waist, and a garland of forest flowers adorns his chest. Gazing upon the beauty of Muraridas’s Lord, the maiden of Vraj becomes absorbed in delight. ॥२
