हरिकों टेरत फिरत गुवारी ॥ आन लेहो तुम छाक आपनी बालक बल बनवारी ॥१॥ आज कलेऊ कियो प्रातही वछरा लेवन धाये ॥ मेवा मोदक मैया यशोमति मेरे हाथ पठाये ॥२॥ जब यह वानी सुनी मनोहर चल आये तहां पास ॥ कीनी भली भूख जब लागी बलपरमानंददास ॥३॥

हरिकों टेरत फिरत गुवारी ॥ आन लेहो तुम छाक आपनी बालक बल बनवारी ॥१॥
A cowherd woman goes around calling for Hari. “Balram and Banwari, dear children, come and take the food brought for You.” ॥१॥

आज कलेऊ कियो प्रातही वछरा लेवन धाये ॥ मेवा मोदक मैया यशोमति मेरे हाथ पठाये ॥२॥
“You ate Your morning meal early today and then hurried away to take the calves out. Mother Yashoda has sent dried fruits and sweet modaks for You through me.” ॥२॥

जब यह वानी सुनी मनोहर चल आये तहां पास ॥ कीनी भली भूख जब लागी बलपरमानंददास ॥३॥
Hearing these words, charming Manmohan came over to her. “You have done well to bring the food, for We are hungry now.” So says Parmananddas. ॥३॥

aan leho tum chhaak aapanee baalak bal Banwaaree ||1||

aaj kaleoo kiyo praatahee vachharaa levan dhaaye ||
mevaa modak maiyaa yashomati mere haath pathaaye ||2||

jab yah vaanee sunee manohar chal aaye tahaan paas ||
keenee bhalee bhookh jab laagee balaparamaanandadaas ||3||
