It has become evening as I wait for Hari on the path. The sun has set, and He is returning from the forest with the herd of cows, surrounded by the dust raised by their hooves. ॥

He plays His flute, His body covered with the dust of the cows, while a forest garland adorns His chest and His beautiful eyes shine brightly. A peacock-feather crown adorns His head, gunja earrings decorate His ears, and a tilak of red ochre adorns His forehead. ॥

The eyes of the gopis, like bees longing for rasa, lovingly drink the nectar of His lotus-like beauty. Paramanand says, “He is the remover of the burning pain of separation—the enchanting flute-player, the treasure-house of beautiful forms.” ॥३॥
