हिंडोरे भोर ही झूलन आये। मग जोवत चितवत सब रतियाँ कौन वाम विरमाये ॥१॥ कहाँ पियरो पट लाये हो नील पट ताको क्यों बिसराये। नंददास सुनि वचन प्रियाके मनही मन मुसिकाये ॥२॥

हिंडोरे भोर ही झूलन आये। मग जोवत चितवत सब रतियाँ कौन वाम विरमाये ॥१॥
At daybreak, you have come to swing upon the hindora. I spent the whole night looking along the path and waiting—what kept you from coming? ॥१॥

कहाँ पियरो पट लाये हो नील पट ताको क्यों बिसराये। नंददास सुनि वचन प्रियाके मनही मन मुसिकाये ॥२॥
Where did you bring this yellow garment from, and why have you left aside the blue one? Hearing these words of his dear one, says Nanddas, he smiled quietly to himself. ॥२॥

hindore bhor hee jhoolan aaye |
mag jovat chitavat sab ratiyaan kaun vaam viramaaye ||1||

kahaan piyaro pat laaye ho neel pat taako kyon bisaraaye |
nandadaas suni vachan priyaake manahee man musikaaye ||2||
