हिंडोरे झूलत हें भामिनी ॥ श्यामाश्याम बराबर बैठे शरद सुहाई यामिनी ॥१ ॥ पांचबरसके श्याम मनोहर सातबरसकी बाला ॥ कमलनयन हरि वे मृगनयनी चंचल नयन विशाला ॥२ ॥ लरकाई में सब बनिआवे कोऊ न जानेसूत ॥ परमानंददासको ठाकुर नंदरायको पूत ॥३ ॥

हिंडोरे झूलत हें भामिनी ॥ श्यामाश्याम बराबर बैठे शरद सुहाई यामिनी ॥१ ॥
The beautiful maiden swings upon the swing. Shyama and Shyam sit side by side on the lovely autumn night. ॥१ ॥

पांचबरसके श्याम मनोहर सातबरसकी बाला ॥ कमलनयन हरि वे मृगनयनी चंचल नयन विशाला ॥२ ॥
The charming Shyam is five years old, and the maiden is seven years old. Hari is lotus-eyed, while she is doe-eyed, with large, restless eyes. ॥२ ॥

लरकाई में सब बनिआवे कोऊ न जानेसूत ॥ परमानंददासको ठाकुर नंदरायको पूत ॥३ ॥
In childhood, everything becomes fitting; no one knows the subtle thread. The Thakur of Paramananddas is Nandarai’s son. ॥3 ॥

paanchabarasake shyaam manohar saatabarasakee baalaa ||
kamalanayan hari ve mriganayanee chanchal nayan vishaalaa ||2||

larakaaee men sab baniaave kooo na jaanesoot ||
paramaanandadaasako thaakur nandaraayako poot ||3||
