जब तू गाय दुहावन जाय ॥ तब तहां तूंरी कहा नंदद्वारेपें भूल रही उतचाय ॥१॥ मटुकी सीस फिरत व्रजवीथन वारवार मुसकाय ॥ फिरफिर वार करतहै ठाडी सूधेधरत न पाय ॥२॥ तजी लोककी लाज कार्यकरकहिव काज धुका हि ॥ चतुर्भुजप्रभु जानतहूं तुव मन हरिसों अटक्यों आहि ॥३॥

जब तू गाय दुहावन जाय ॥ तब तहां तूंरी कहा नंदद्वारेपें भूल रही उतचाय ॥१॥
“When you go to milk the cows, why do you remain standing there, lost in thought at Nanda Maharaj’s doorway?” ॥१॥

मटुकी सीस फिरत व्रजवीथन वारवार मुसकाय ॥ फिरफिर वार करतहै ठाडी सूधेधरत न पाय ॥२॥
“With a pot on your head, you wander through the streets of Vraj, smiling again and again. You repeatedly stop and stand looking about, unable even to place your feet properly as you walk.” ॥२॥

तजी लोककी लाज कार्यकरकहिव काज धुका हि ॥ चतुर्भुजप्रभु जानतहूं तुव मन हरिसों अटक्यों आहि ॥३॥
“You have given up all concern for what people may say and have forgotten your household duties. Chaturbhuj says, ‘I know that your heart has become completely attached to Hari.’” ॥३॥
