जागो गोपाललाल दुहो धौरी गैयां ॥ सद्दूध मथ पीवो घैयां ॥१॥ भोर भयो वन तमचर बोले ॥ घरघर गोप वगर सब खोले ॥२॥ गोपी रई मथनिया धोवे ॥ अपनो अपनो दह्यो विलोवे ॥३॥ संगके सखा बुलावन आये ॥ कृष्णनाम लेले सब गाये ॥४॥ भूषण वसन पलट पहराऊं ॥ चंदनतिलक ललाट बनाऊं ॥५॥ चतुर्भुज प्रभु श्रीगोवर्द्धनधारी ॥ मुखछबिपर बलगई महतारी ॥

जागो गोपाललाल दुहो धौरी गैयां ॥  
सद्दूध मथ पीवो घैयां ॥१॥
Wake up, dear Gopal; milk the white cows. Drink the fresh milk after it has been churned. ॥१॥

भोर भयो वन तमचर बोले ॥  
घरघर गोप वगर सब खोले ॥२॥
Dawn has come, and the creatures of the forest are calling. In every house, the cowherds have opened all the cattle enclosures. ॥२॥

गोपी रई मथनिया धोवे ॥  
अपनो अपनो दह्यो विलोवे ॥३॥
The gopis wash their churning vessels, and each churns the curd in her own home. ॥३॥

संगके सखा बुलावन आये ॥  
कृष्णनाम लेले सब गाये ॥४॥
His cowherd companions have come to call Him. All of them sing, repeatedly taking Krishna’s name. ॥४॥

भूषण वसन पलट पहराऊं ॥  
चंदनतिलक ललाट बनाऊं ॥५॥
Let me change Your clothes and ornaments, and make a sandalwood tilak upon Your forehead. ॥५॥

चतुर्भुज प्रभु श्रीगोवर्द्धनधारी ॥  
मुखछबिपर बलगई महतारी ॥
Chaturbhuj says: O Lord Shri Govardhandhari, Mother is completely devoted to the beauty of Your face.

bhooshan vasan palat paharaaoon ||
chandanatilak lalaat banaaoon ||5||
