जाके मन बसे स्यामघन माधो ॥ सो सुंदर सोधनीदक्ष सोई सोई कुलीन सोई साधो ॥१॥ सो पंडित सोगुणपुंज सोई जो गोपाल कहिगावे ॥ कोटिप्रकार धन्य सोई नर जो नहिं हरि विसरावे ॥२॥ सो नर सूर वेदविद्यारत सो भूपति सोई ज्ञानी ॥ परमानंद धन्य सोई समरथ जिहिं लाल चरण रति मानी ॥३॥

जाके मन बसे | Jake Man Base

जाके मन बसे स्यामघन माधो ॥ सो सुंदर सोधनीदक्ष सोई सोई कुलीन सोई साधो ॥१॥  
In whose heart dark-cloud-hued Madho dwells, that person is truly beautiful, truly discerning and capable, truly noble, and truly saintly. ॥१॥

सो पंडित सोगुणपुंज सोई जो गोपाल कहिगावे ॥ कोटिप्रकार धन्य सोई नर जो नहिं हरि विसरावे ॥२॥  
That person alone is learned and a treasure of virtues who speaks and sings of Gopal. Blessed in countless ways is the person who never forgets Hari. ॥२॥

सो नर सूर वेदविद्यारत सो भूपति सोई ज्ञानी ॥ परमानंद धन्य सोई समरथ जिहिं लाल चरण रति मानी ॥३॥  
That person is truly valiant, devoted to Vedic learning, truly a ruler, and truly wise. Parmanand says: blessed and truly capable is the one who has loving devotion to Lal’s feet. ॥३॥

jaake man base syaamaghan maadho ||
so sundar sodhaneedaksh soee soee kuleen soee saadho ||1||

so pandit sogunapunj soee jo Gopaal kahigaave ||
kotiprakaar dhany soee nar jo nahin hari visaraave ||2||

so nar soor vedavidyaarat so bhoopati soee gyaanee ||
paramaanand dhany soee samarath jihin laal charan rati maanee ||3||
