जान्यो प्रीतको मरम ॥ मुख कीमोसोजियकी औरनसों पायो है तिहारो भरम ॥१॥ ऐसीहै जो कोन बाल जिन रस वस कर लीने जानियत हियके नरम ॥ हरिनारायण स्यामदास के प्रभु माई भलीकीनी भोर आये चतुर परम ॥२॥

जान्यो प्रीतको मरम ॥ मुख कीमोसोजियकी औरनसों पायो है तिहारो भरम ॥१॥  
Now I have understood the truth of your love. Your face is turned toward me, but your heart is with another; I have discovered your deception. ॥१॥

ऐसीहै जो कोन बाल जिन रस वस कर लीने जानियत हियके नरम ॥ हरिनारायण स्यामदास के प्रभु माई भलीकीनी भोर आये चतुर परम ॥२॥  
Who is that maiden who has so captivated you? From your softened heart, it is easy to know. Harinarayan Shyamdas says: O Prabhu, very clever One, You have done well to come at dawn. ॥२॥

jaanyo preetako maram ||
mukh keemosojiyakee auranason paayo hai tihaaro bharam ||1||

aiseehai jo kon baal jin ras vas kar leene jaaniyat hiyake naram ||
harinaaraayan syaamadaas ke prabhu maaee bhaleekeenee bhor aaye chatur param ||2||
