जसोदा नहीबरजे अपनो कान्ह ॥ अपनो कान्ह सुंदर सुजान ॥१॥ नीर भरन गई यमुना घाट ॥ नही जानदेत धर रोके बाट ॥२॥ कबेंझगर कहेलावोदान ॥ झपटचीर करे खेंचतान ॥३॥ पयपीवत घुटरुवन चलत लाल ॥ यह यमुनातट गयो कोनेचाल ॥४॥ तेरीबात सुनत मोहिहाँसीआत ॥ यह पलना झूलत कछु नहीं खात ॥५॥ गौचारत निरखे तरुन स्याम ॥ सबेछलतफिरत करे ऐसे काम ॥६॥ सकुचाय ग्वालरही मुख विहार ॥ सूरस्यामकी लीला अपार ॥७॥

जसोदा नहींबरजे अपनो कान्ह | Jasoda Nahinbaraje Apano Kanh

जसोदा नहीबरजे अपनो कान्ह ॥ अपनो कान्ह सुंदर सुजान ॥१॥
Yashodā does not restrain her Kānha; her Kānha is beautiful and clever. ॥१॥

नीर भरन गई यमुना घाट ॥ नही जानदेत धर रोके बाट ॥२॥
She went to the Yamunā bank to fill water, but He would not let her go; He stopped her on the way. ॥२॥

कबेंझगर कहेलावोदान ॥ झपटचीर करे खेंचतान ॥३॥
He suddenly grabs her garment and pulls at it. ॥३॥

पयपीवत घुटरुवन चलत लाल ॥ यह यमुनातट गयो कोनेचाल ॥४॥
Lāl, who drinks milk and moves about on His knees, has somehow come to this bank of the Yamunā. ॥४॥

तेरीबात सुनत मोहिहाँसीआत ॥ यह पलना झूलत कछु नहीं खात ॥५॥
Hearing Your words makes me laugh; while swinging in this cradle, He eats nothing. ॥५॥

गौचारत निरखे तरुन स्याम ॥ सबेछलतफिरत करे ऐसे काम ॥६॥
While He grazes the cows, He looks upon young Śyām; everyone wanders about, doing such things. ॥६॥

सकुचाय ग्वालरही मुख विहार ॥ सूरस्यामकी लीला अपार ॥७॥
The cowherd women remain shy, turning their faces away. Sūr says, Śyām’s līlā is endless. ॥७॥

neer bharan gaee Yamunaa ghaat ||
nahee jaanadet dhar roke baat ||2||

kabenjhagar kahelaavodaan ||
jhapatacheer kare khenchataan ||3||

payapeevat ghutaruvan chalat laal ||
yah yamunaatat gayo konechaal ||4||

tereebaat sunat mohihaanseeaat ||
yah palanaa jhoolat kachhu naheen khaat ||5||

gauchaarat nirakhe tarun syaam ||
sabechhalataphirat kare aise kaam ||6||

sakuchaay gvaalarahee mukh vihaar ||
soorasyaamakee leelaa apaar ||7||
