झूलत अति आनंदभरे ॥ इतश्यामा उतलाल लाडिलो बैयां कंठधरें ॥१॥ बोलतमोर कोकिला अलिकुल गरजतहें घन घोर ॥ गावत राग मल्हार भामिनी दामिनि झकझोर ॥२॥ नेन्हीनेन्ही बूंदपरतहें ऊपर मंदमंद समीर ॥ फूलनफूल रह्यो काननसब सुंदर यमुना तीर ॥३॥ रीझरहे सुरनर मुनि वरखत कुसुमन माल ॥ सूर सकल सुखको येही सुख निरखत मदन गोपाल ॥४॥

झूलत अति आनंदभरे | Jhoolat Ati Anandabhare

झूलत अति आनंदभरे ॥ इतश्यामा उतलाल लाडिलो बैयां कंठधरें ॥१॥
They swing, filled with great joy. Shyama is on one side and the beloved Lal is on the other, holding one another around the neck. ॥१॥

बोलतमोर कोकिला अलिकुल गरजतहें घन घोर ॥ गावत राग मल्हार भामिनी दामिनि झकझोर ॥२॥
Peacocks and cuckoos are calling, and clusters of bees are humming while the dark clouds thunder deeply. The women sing Raga Malhar, while lightning flashes and trembles. ॥२॥

नेन्हीनेन्ही बूंदपरतहें ऊपर मंदमंद समीर ॥ फूलनफूल रह्यो काननसब सुंदर यमुना तीर ॥३॥
Tiny drops of rain are falling, while a gentle breeze blows above. The entire forest is blossoming with flowers, and the banks of the Yamuna are beautiful. ॥३॥

रीझरहे सुरनर मुनि वरखत कुसुमन माल ॥ सूर सकल सुखको येही सुख निरखत मदन गोपाल ॥४॥
The gods, humans, and sages are delighted, and shower garlands of flowers. Surdas says, “This is the joy of all joys, as Madan Gopal beholds this very happiness.” ॥४॥

itashyaamaa utalaal laadilo baiyaan kanthadharen ||1||

bolatamor kokilaa alikul garajatahen ghan ghor ||
gaavat raag malhaar bhaaminee daamini jhakajhor ||2||

nenheenenhee boondaparatahen oopar mandamand sameer ||
phoolanaphool rahyo kaananasab sundar Yamunaa teer ||3||

reejharahe suranar muni varakhat kusuman maal ||
soor sakal sukhako yehee sukh nirakhat madan Gopaal ||4||
