कदंब तर ठाढे नंदकिसोर ॥ पचरंग लहरियां सोहत लाल के सीस चंद्रिका मोर ॥१॥ प्यारी पहिरे लहरियां सारी चपल नैंन की कोर ॥ 'सूरदास' प्रभु की छबि निरखति विलसति ब्रज की खोर ॥२॥

कदंब तर ठाढे नंदकिसोर ॥ पचरंग लहरियां सोहत लाल के सीस चंद्रिका मोर ॥१॥
Nandkishor stands beneath the kadamba tree. A five-colored lehariya adornment looks beautiful upon Lal, and a peacock-feather chandrika shines on His head. ॥१॥

प्यारी पहिरे लहरियां सारी चपल नैंन की कोर ॥ 'सूरदास' प्रभु की छबि निरखति विलसति ब्रज की खोर ॥२॥
Pyari wears a lehariya sari, and the corners of her lively eyes are full of charm. Surdas says: beholding Prabhu’s beauty, she moves radiantly through the lanes of Vraj. ॥२॥

kadamb tar thaadhe nandakisor ||
pacharang lahariyaan sohat laal ke sees chandrikaa mor ||1||

pyaaree pahire lahariyaan saaree chapal nainn kee kor ||
'Soordaas' prabhu kee chhabi nirakhati vilasati Braj kee khor ||2||
