कान्ह अटा पर चंग उडावत मैं इतने उत आंगन हेर्यो । नैन भये विभिचारी नारायन भाजत लाज किधों भट मेरो ॥१॥ मोहि तो यह जक लगी रहत है क्यों हू क्यों हू फिरत न फेर्यो । 'परमानंद' प्रभु यह अचंभो एंचत डोर किधों मन मेरो ॥२॥

कान्ह अटा पर | Kanh Ata Par

(राग अडानो | Raga Adano)

कान्ह अटा पर चंग उडावत मैं इतने उत आंगन हेर्यो ।
Kanh is flying a kite upon the rooftop, while I watch Him from my courtyard over here.

नैन भये विभिचारी नारायन भाजत लाज किधों भट मेरो ॥१॥
My eyes have become wayward, O Narayan; my composure and modesty seem to be slipping away. ॥१॥

मोहि तो यह जक लगी रहत है क्यों हू क्यों हू फिरत न फेर्यो ।
“I am caught in such a fascination that, however much I try, I cannot turn my attention away.”

'परमानंद' प्रभु यह अचंभो एंचत डोर किधों मन मेरो ॥२॥
Paramanand says: “Prabhu, this is the wonder—I cannot tell whether You are pulling the kite-string or drawing my heart toward You.” ॥२॥

## Transliteration

kaanh ataa par chang udaavat main itane ut aangan heryo |
nain bhaye vibhichaaree naaraayan bhaajat laaj kidhon bhat mero ||1||

mohi to yah jak lagee rahat hai kyon hoo kyon hoo phirat na pheryo |
'paramaanand' prabhu yah achambho enchat dor kidhon man mero ||2||
