खंभकी ओझल ठाढो सुबल प्रवीण सखा करमें जटितडबा वीरासों भर्यो जेमतहेंरी मोहन ॥ परदापरे तिवारी तीन्यो तामध्य झलकत अंग अंग रंग सोहन ॥१॥ जाहीको देखत रानी ताहीको उठतझुक कोऊ नहीं पावत समयो जोहन ॥ नंददासप्रभु भोजनकर बैठे तब में दईरी सेन पान खाये आंवन कह्योरी गोहन ॥२॥

खंभकी ओझल ठाढो सुबल प्रवीण सखा करमें जटितडबा वीरासों भर्यो जेमतहेंरी मोहन ॥  
परदापरे तिवारी तीन्यो तामध्य झलकत अंग अंग रंग सोहन ॥१॥
Clever sakha Subal stands concealed behind a pillar, holding in his hand a jeweled box filled with prepared paan, while Mohan is taking His meal. Curtains have been lowered around the Tibari, and through them His beautiful form is seen in glimpses. ॥१॥

जाहीको देखत रानी ताहीको उठतझुक कोऊ नहीं पावत समयो जोहन ॥  
नंददासप्रभु भोजनकर बैठे तब में दईरी सेन पान खाये आंवन कह्योरी गोहन ॥२॥
Whenever Nandarani looks in that direction, Subal quickly bends out of sight, so that no one gets a chance to see him. When Nanddas’s Lord had finished His meal and was seated, I gave a secret signal, telling Him to come after taking paan. ॥२॥

khambhakee ojhal thaadho subal praveen sakhaa karamen jatitadabaa veeraason bharyo jematahenree mohan ||
paradaapare tivaaree teenyo taamadhy jhalakat ang ang rang sohan ||1||

jaaheeko dekhat raanee taaheeko uthatajhuk kooo naheen paavat samayo johan ||
nandadaasaprabhu bhojanakar baithe tab men daeeree sen paan khaaye aanvan kahyoree gohan ||2||
