कोंसल्या रघुनाथकों ले गोद खिलावे ॥ सुंदर वदन निहारकें हँस कंठ लगावे ॥१॥ पीत झंगुलिया तनलसे पग नूपुर बाजे ॥ चलन सिखावे रामकों कोटिक छबिछाजे ॥२॥ सीस सुभग कुलही बनी माथे बिंदु विराजे ॥ नीलकंठ नखकेहरी कर कंकण वाजे ॥३॥ बाल लीला रघुनाथकी यह सुने ओर गावे ॥ तुलसीदासकों यह कृपा नित्य दर्शनपावे ॥४॥

कोंसल्या रघुनाथकों ले गोद खिलावे ॥
सुंदर वदन निहारकें हँस कंठ लगावे ॥१॥
Kaushalya takes Raghunath in her lap and lovingly plays with Him. Gazing upon His beautiful face, she smiles and embraces Him. ॥१॥

पीत झंगुलिया तनलसे पग नूपुर बाजे ॥
चलन सिखावे रामकों कोटिक छबिछाजे ॥२॥
A yellow jhanguli shines upon His little body, and anklets ring upon His feet. She teaches Ram to walk, while countless charms shine in His every little step. ॥२॥

सीस सुभग कुलही बनी माथे बिंदु विराजे ॥
नीलकंठ नखकेहरी कर कंकण वाजे ॥३॥
A beautiful kulah adorns His head, and a little protective dot shines upon His forehead. A nilkanth ornament and tiger-claw pendant adorn Him, while bracelets ring upon His hands. ॥३॥

बाल लीला रघुनाथकी यह सुने ओर गावे ॥
तुलसीदासकों यह कृपा नित्य दर्शनपावे ॥४॥
Whoever hears and sings of these childhood Leelas of Raghunath receives this grace. Tulsidas prays: may he have His darshan every day. ॥४॥

sundar vadan nihaaraken hans kanth lagaave ||1||

peet jhanguliyaa tanalase pag noopur baaje ||
chalan sikhaave raamakon kotik chhabichhaaje ||2||

sees subhag kulahee banee maathe bindu viraaje ||
neelakanth nakhakeharee kar kankan vaaje ||3||

baal leelaa raghunaathakee yah sune or gaave ||
tulaseedaasakon yah kripaa nity darshanapaave ||4||
