क्योंरी तूं द्वारे बोली आय ॥ तेरो बोल सुनत मेरो मोहन भोजन कछू न खाय ॥१॥ दोर चले भींतरते बाहिर उखट्यो होतो पाय ॥ श्रीविठ्ठलनंदरानी खीजत तेरोकछु न सुभाय ॥२॥

क्योंरी तूं द्वारे बोली आय ॥
“Why did you come calling at the door? 

तेरो बोल सुनत मेरो मोहन भोजन कछू न खाय ॥१॥
As soon as my Mohan heard your voice, He lost all interest in His meal.” ॥१॥

दोर चले भींतरते बाहिर उखट्यो होतो पाय ॥
He came hurrying out from inside the house, His little feet barely keeping pace in His eagerness.

श्रीविठ्ठलनंदरानी खीजत तेरोकछु न सुभाय ॥२॥
Shri Vitthal says: Nandarani, a little annoyed, tells, “This way of yours will not do—you have distracted my Lala from His meal.” ॥२॥

kyonree toon dvaare bolee aay ||
tero bol sunat mero mohan bhojan kachhoo na khaay ||1||

dor chale bheentarate baahir ukhatyo hoto paay ||
Shreeviththalanandaraanee kheejat terokachhu na subhaay ||2||
