लाडिले यह जल जिनहिं पियो ॥ जब आरोगत तब भरलाऊं तातो डार दियो ॥१॥ उठो मनमोहन वदन पखारो सुंदर लोट लियो ॥ तुम जानत हम अबही पोढे पहरहि घोस रह्यो ॥२॥ सुन मृदुवचन स्याम उठ बैठे मान्यो मात कह्यो ॥ परमानंद प्रभु भयेहैं भूखे मैया मेवा दीयो ॥३॥

लाडिले यह जल जिनहिं पियो ॥ जब आरोगत तब भरलाऊं तातो डार दियो ॥१॥
“My darling, do not drink this water—I have added hot water to it. When you eat, I will bring you fresh drinking water.” ॥१॥

उठो मनमोहन वदन पखारो सुंदर लोट लियो ॥ तुम जानत हम अबही पोढे पहरहि घोस रह्यो ॥२॥
“Wake up, Manmohan. Take this lovely water pot and wash your face. You feel you have only just fallen asleep, but it has already been noisy outside for three hours.” ॥२॥

सुन मृदुवचन स्याम उठ बैठे मान्यो मात कह्यो ॥ परमानंद प्रभु भयेहैं भूखे मैया मेवा दीयो ॥३॥
Hearing his mother’s gentle words, Shyam sat up and obeyed her. Parmanand’s Lord was hungry, so Mother gave him nuts and dried fruit. ॥३॥
