लहेकन लागी बसंतबहार सखि त्यों त्यों बनवारी लाग्यो बहेकन ॥ फूले पलास नखनाहार केसे तेसें कानन लाग्यो महेकन ॥१॥ कोकिल मोर शुक सार सहंस खंजन मीन भ्रमर अखियाँ देख अति ललकन ॥ नंददास प्रभु प्यारी अगवानी गिरिधर पियकों देखत भयो श्रमकन ॥२॥ ३

लहेकन लागी बसंतबहार सखि त्यों त्यों बनवारी लाग्यो बहेकन ॥ फूले पलास नखनाहार केसे तेसें कानन लाग्यो महेकन ॥१॥
Spring beauty has begun to shine, sakhi; in the same way, Banvārī has begun to move about joyfully. The palāś flowers have blossomed, and the forest has begun to spread its fragrance everywhere. ॥१ ॥

कोकिल मोर शुक सार सहंस खंजन मीन भ्रमर अखियाँ देख अति ललकन ॥ नंददास प्रभु प्यारी अगवानी गिरिधर पियकों देखत भयो श्रमकन ॥२॥
The cuckoo, peacock, parrot, sāraṅga, swan, wagtail, fish, and bee—all seem eager, as if their eyes are longing to see Him. Nanddās says: Prabhu’s beloved comes forward to welcome Him; seeing Giridhar, her Beloved, she becomes filled with joy. ॥२ ॥

lahekan laagee basantabahaar sakhi tyon tyon Banwaaree laagyo bahekan ||
phoole palaas nakhanaahaar kese tesen kaanan laagyo mahekan ||1||

kokil mor shuk saar sahans khanjan meen bhramar akhiyaan dekh ati lalakan ||
nandadaas prabhu pyaaree agavaanee Giridhar piyakon dekhat bhayo shramakan ||2||
