लालमाई भीजत आये गेह ।। पीत दुमालो अधि बिराजत कलगी अधिक स्नेह ।।१।।
Mother, Lal came home drenched. A yellow dumalo shines beautifully upon Him, and the crest-plume looks especially lovely. ।।१।।

गरजत गगन मृदंग बजावत पवन झकोरत मेह ।। श्रीविट्ठल गिरिधरनलालकी झलकत सांवरी देह ।।२।।
The sky thunders like a mridang, and the wind drives the rain in gusts. Shri Vitthal Giridhar Lal’s dark form glistens beautifully. ।।२।।
