लालन बैठे कुंजस्थली कुसुमित वनपरिमल आमोद तहां कूजत कोकिला रहे रसमत्त अली ॥१॥ कुवलयदल कोमल शय्या रची मृदुल सुहस्त वेणीग्रथित चंपकली ॥ गोविंदप्रभु दंपति जु परस्पर रहे रसमत्त रली ॥२॥

लालन बैठे कुंजस्थली कुसुमित वनपरिमल आमोद तहां कूजत कोकिला रहे रसमत्त अली ॥१॥
Lalan sits in the bower. The flowering woodland spreads its delightful fragrance; cuckoos sing there, and bees are absorbed in the sweetness of nectar. ॥१॥

कुवलयदल कोमल शय्या रची मृदुल सुहस्त वेणीग्रथित चंपकली ॥ गोविंदप्रभु दंपति जु परस्पर रहे रसमत्त रली ॥२॥
A soft resting place has been prepared with blue-lotus petals. Gentle hands have woven champak buds into her braid. Govind’s Lord and his beloved delight in each other’s company, absorbed in the sweetness of love. ॥२॥
