लालके फेंटा ऐंठा अमेठा बन्यो फब्यो भ्रगुटी भाल पर नवल नंदलालके आवत बनतें बने सांझ सुरभिन मांझ ॥ अटक लटक नरही दुगन ब्रजबालक ॥१॥ चलत गजगति चाल मनहरत तेहि काल बाहु अंस न धरें सखा प्रिय ग्वालके ॥ गोपीजन युथ जूरे द्वार द्वार खड़ी निरख नंदलाल युवती जन जालके ॥२॥

लालके फेंटा ऐंठा अमेठा बन्यो फब्यो भ्रगुटी भाल पर नवल नंदलालके आवत बनतें बने सांझ सुरभिन मांझ ॥ अटक लटक नरही दुगन ब्रजबालक ॥१॥
Lal’s headcloth is stylishly twisted and tied, and it looks beautiful upon the brows and forehead of the fresh young Nandalal. As He comes, so beautifully adorned, at evening in the midst of the cows, the Braj boys crowd close around Him and cling about Him. ॥१॥

चलत गजगति चाल मनहरत तेहि काल बाहु अंस न धरें सखा प्रिय ग्वालके ॥ गोपीजन युथ जूरे द्वार द्वार खड़ी निरख नंदलाल युवती जन जालके ॥२॥
As He walks with a majestic, elephant-like gait that steals the heart, His dear cowherd friends place their arms upon His shoulders. Groups of gopis gather, standing at every doorway, beholding Nandalal, with crowds of young women all around. ॥२॥

laalake phentaa ainthaa amethaa banyo phabyo bhragutee bhaal par naval nandalaalake aavat banaten bane saanjh surabhin maanjh ||
atak latak narahee dugan brajabaalak ||1||

chalat gajagati chaal manaharat tehi kaal baahu ans na dharen sakhaa priy gvaalake ||
gopeejan yuth joore dvaar dvaar kharee nirakh Nandlaal yuvatee jan jaalake ||2||
