Please accept this betel roll, O most generous one. I have brought it, clean and carefully prepared, lovely, very fragrant, and filled with cooling ingredients. ॥१॥

निरख निरख छबि मन आनंदे लीनी सुहस्त पसार ॥ सूर निरख नंद तन मन धन वारत मुक्ताहार ॥२॥
Gazing again and again upon that beauty, the heart rejoices; he reaches out his lovely hand and accepts it. Sur says: gazing upon him, Nanda offers his body, heart, and wealth, and a necklace of pearls. ॥२॥
