मदन गुपाल हमारे आवत आनंद मंगल गाऊंगी ॥ जल गुलाब के ढोरी अरगजा पायन चंदन लगाऊंगी ॥१॥ सीतल चंदन सुखद के साजति कुच भुज बीच बसाऊंगी ॥ 'कुंभनदास' लालगिरिधर को जो एकांत कर पाऊंगी ॥२॥

मदन गुपाल हमारे आवत आनंद मंगल गाऊंगी ॥ जल गुलाब के ढोरी अरगजा पायन चंदन लगाऊंगी ॥१॥
When our Madan Gopal comes, I will sing songs of joy and celebration. I will bathe His feet with rose water and apply fragrant aragaja and sandalwood to them. ॥१॥

सीतल चंदन सुखद के साजति कुच भुज बीच बसाऊंगी ॥ 'कुंभनदास' लालगिरिधर को जो एकांत कर पाऊंगी ॥२॥
I will lovingly adorn Him with soothing, pleasant sandalwood, placing it upon His chest and arms. Kumbhandas says, “If I can have Giridhar Lal alone with me, I will cherish that precious private time with Him.” ॥२॥
