मदनगोपाल हमारे आबत आनन्द मंगल गाऊंगी ॥ जल गुलाब के घोरि अरगजा पायन चंदन लगाऊंगी ॥१॥ शीतल चंदन सुखद के साजत कुच भुज बीच बसाऊंगी ॥ कुम्भनदास लाल गिरिधर को जो एकान्त कर पाऊंगी ॥२॥

मदनगोपाल हमारे आबत आनन्द मंगल गाऊंगी ॥ जल गुलाब के घोरि अरगजा पायन चंदन लगाऊंगी ॥१॥
When my Madan Gopal arrives, I shall sing songs of joy and auspiciousness. I shall mix fragrant argaja paste with rose water and lovingly apply sandalwood paste to His feet. ॥१॥

शीतल चंदन सुखद के साजत कुच भुज बीच बसाऊंगी ॥ कुम्भनदास लाल गिरिधर को जो एकान्त कर पाऊंगी ॥२॥
I shall lovingly adorn Him with cool, soothing sandalwood paste and hold Him close to my heart in a tender embrace. Kumbhandas expresses the wish to have beloved Giridhar alone, to offer Him this loving care. ॥२॥
