माई मेरी गोपाल लड़ैतौ । अपनौ काहू छुवन न दैहौं याहीते लोग बड़ैतौ ॥१॥ मेरेई धन गोरस बहुतेरौ लैन उधार न जाइवौ । राखोंगी कंठ लगाई लालकों पलना माँझ झूलाइवौ ॥२॥ परम विचित्र पाँय पेंजनियाँ चलन घुटुरुवन धाइवौ । परमानंद नंदके आँगन लै लै नाम बुलाइवौ ॥३॥

माई मेरी गोपाल | Mai Meri Gopal

माई मेरी गोपाल लड़ैतौ । अपनौ काहू छुवन न दैहौं याहीते लोग बड़ैतौ ॥१॥
Mother, my Gopal quarrels with everyone. I will not let anyone touch my own Gopal; that is why people speak so highly of Him. ॥१॥

मेरेई धन गोरस बहुतेरौ लैन उधार न जाइवौ । राखोंगी कंठ लगाई लालकों पलना माँझ झूलाइवौ ॥२॥
My own wealth is abundant milk; I will not let Him go and take milk on credit. I will hold my dear child close to my neck and rock Him in the cradle. ॥२॥

परम विचित्र पाँय पेंजनियाँ चलन घुटुरुवन धाइवौ । परमानंद नंदके आँगन लै लै नाम बुलाइवौ ॥३॥
The anklets on His feet are exceedingly beautiful; as He learns to walk, He runs about on His knees. Paramanand calls His name again and again in Nanda’s courtyard. ॥३॥

apanau kaahoo chhuvan na daihaun yaaheete log baraitau ||1||

mereee dhan goras bahuterau lain udhaar na jaaivau |
raakhongee kanth lagaaee laalakon palanaa maanjh jhoolaaivau ||2||

param vichitr paayn penjaniyaan chalan ghuturuvan dhaaivau |
paramaanand nandake aangan lai lai naam bulaaivau ||3||
