मंज्जन करि चित्र चौकी वेगी प्यारी जू सहचरी चित्र विचित्र शृंगार करावत रतन जटित मनिन कें आभूषन सोहत तापर सुहा सारी चुनि पहरावत ॥१॥ सोडस विधि अलंकार रूप जीवन गुन अपार अपनी उपमां को आपु अंत न पावत ॥ मुरारीदास प्रभु जाल रंध्र अवलोकत अति आतुर आतुलित छबि रई नेतिनेति निगम वनरानी को गावत ॥२॥

मंज्जन करि चित्र चौकी वेगी प्यारी जू सहचरी चित्र विचित्र शृंगार करावत रतन जटित मनिन कें आभूषन सोहत तापर सुहा सारी चुनि पहरावत ॥१॥  
Having completed her cleansing, Pyari-ju quickly sits upon the decorated seat. The sakhis adorn her with many beautiful kinds of shringar; jewel-studded ornaments shine upon her, and over them they carefully dress her in a lovely sari. ॥१॥

सोडस विधि अलंकार रूप जीवन गुन अपार अपनी उपमां को आपु अंत न पावत ॥  
Adorned in the sixteen forms of ornamentation, she is the very life of beauty and possesses boundless virtues; even she herself cannot reach the limit of her own comparison.

मुरारीदास प्रभु जाल रंध्र अवलोकत अति आतुर आतुलित छबि रई नेतिनेति निगम वनरानी को गावत ॥२॥  
Muraridas says: Prabhu, greatly eager, beholds her through the openings of the lattice. Her incomparable beauty remains beyond measure; the Vedas sing of the Queen of the grove, saying, “Not this, not this.” ॥२॥

## Transliteration

manjjan kari chitr chaukee vegee pyaaree joo sahacharee chitr vichitr shringaar karaavat ratan jatit manin ken aabhooshan sohat taapar suhaa saaree chuni paharaavat ||1||

sodas vidhi alankaar roop jeevan gun apaar apnee upamaan ko aapu ant na paavat ||
muraareedaas prabhu jaal randhr avalokat ati aatur aatulit chhabi raee netineti nigam vanaraanee ko gaavat ||2||
