मनमोहन वृषभान लली मिल झूलत सुरंग हिंडोरें ॥ वाधें शीश ऐंठवां फेंटा सरस कसुंभी रंगबोरें ॥१॥ कटिराजत पटपीत श्यामके सारी सुरंग बनी तनगोरें ॥ अंसनबाहु धरें जो परस्पर चिते चपल दृगकोरें ॥२॥ खंभनलाग झूलावत ठाडी तरुणीगण चहूओरें ॥ रतिनायक व्रजपतिकी छबिपर रीझरीझ तृणतोरें ॥३॥

मनमोहन वृषभान लली मिल झूलत सुरंग हिंडोरें ॥
Manmohan and Vrishabhan’s daughter together swing upon the beautifully coloured hindoro. ॥

वाधें शीश ऐंठवां फेंटा सरस कसुंभी रंगबोरें ॥१॥
Upon His head is tied a twisted fenta, beautifully steeped in safflower colour. ॥१॥

कटिराजत पटपीत श्यामके सारी सुरंग बनी तनगोरें ॥
A yellow cloth graces Shyam’s waist, while a beautifully coloured sari adorns her fair form. ॥

अंसनबाहु धरें जो परस्पर चिते चपल दृगकोरें ॥२॥
They place their arms upon each other’s shoulders and gaze with playful corners of their eyes. ॥२॥

खंभनलाग झूलावत ठाडी तरुणीगण चहूओरें ॥
Standing by the pillars, groups of young women all around swing them. ॥

रतिनायक व्रजपतिकी छबिपर रीझरीझ तृणतोरें ॥३॥
Delighting again and again in the beauty of the Lord of Vraj, the master of love, they break blades of grass. ॥३॥

katiraajat patapeet shyaamake saaree surang banee tanagoren ||

khambhanalaag jhoolaavat thaadee taruneegan chahoooren ||
ratinaayak vrajapatikee chhabipar reejhareejh trinatoren ||3||
