मेरोमाई नयनन ने बढ्यो ॥ कमल नयन घनस्याम छबीलो चितमें रहतचढ़्यो ॥१॥ को जाने कहो धों कहा कीनो मोहन मंत्र पढ़्यो ॥ यह बंसी गोपालहि दई विधिजु बनाय गढ़्यो ॥२॥ मन गज परयो रूप सरिता में नाहिन परत कढ्यो ॥ विद्यादास सकलव्रज बाज्यो प्रेम निसान मढ़्यो ॥३॥

मेरोमाई नयनन ने | Meromai Nayanan Ne

मेरोमाई नयनन ने बढ्यो ॥  
कमल नयन घनस्याम छबीलो चितमें रहतचढ़्यो ॥१॥
O mother, the longing of my eyes keeps growing. Beautiful Ghanshyam, with lotus-like eyes, remains constantly present in my heart. ॥१॥

को जाने कहो धों कहा कीनो मोहन मंत्र पढ़्यो ॥  
यह बंसी गोपालहि दई विधिजु बनाय गढ़्यो ॥२॥
Who knows what Mohan has done, or what enchanting mantra He has spoken? The Creator Himself fashioned this flute and gave it to Gopal. ॥२॥

मन गज परयो रूप सरिता में नाहिन परत कढ्यो ॥  
विद्यादास सकलव्रज बाज्यो प्रेम निसान मढ़्यो ॥३॥
The elephant-like mind has fallen into the river of His beauty and cannot be drawn out. Vidyadas says: throughout all of Vraj, the drum of love resounds. ॥३॥

kamal nayan ghanasyaam chhabeelo chitamen rahatacharhyo ||1||

ko jaane kaho dhon kahaa keeno mohan mantr parhyo ||
yah bansee gopaalahi daee vidhiju banaay garhyo ||2||

man gaj parayo roop saritaa men naahin parat kadhyo ||
vidyaadaas sakalavraj baajyo prem nisaan marhyo ||3||
