मोहन मोहनी घाली सिरपर जोई मोहि रहत सदाई ॥ निशदिन सखीरी जोलों नहीं देखियत पिय व्रजराजकुंवर ॥१॥ यद्यपि धीरज धर रहत सखीरी तदपि मुरली ध्वनि सुनत प्राणहर ॥ अबन रह्यो परें मिलूं गोविंदप्रभुसों रसिककुंवर बलबल स्यामसुंदर ॥२॥

मोहन मोहनी घाली सिरपर जोई मोहि रहत सदाई ॥  
निशदिन सखीरी जोलों नहीं देखियत पिय व्रजराजकुंवर ॥१॥
Mohan has placed such an enchantment upon me that I remain under its spell always. O sakhi, day and night, whenever I do not see my beloved Vrajaraj Kunwar, I cannot find peace. ॥१॥

यद्यपि धीरज धर रहत सखीरी तदपि मुरली ध्वनि सुनत प्राणहर ॥  
अबन रह्यो परें मिलूं गोविंदप्रभुसों रसिककुंवर बलबल स्यामसुंदर ॥२॥
Although I try to remain patient, O sakhi, as soon as I hear the sound of His flute, it takes away my very life. Now I can remain apart no longer; I must go and meet Govind Prabhu, the charming Kunwar, Shyamsundar, upon whom I offer myself again and again. ॥२॥

mohan mohanee ghaalee sirapar joee mohi rahat sadaaee ||
nishadin sakheeree jolon naheen dekhiyat piy vrajaraajakunvar ||1||

yadyapi dheeraj dhar rahat sakheeree tadapi muralee dhvani sunat praanahar ||
aban rahyo paren miloon govindaprabhuson rasikakunvar balabal syaamasundar ||2||
