मोहि कहा वरजतहो कान्ह क्यों न वरजोरी चितेवौ छाँडे ॥ नयन मोहनीरी मोहन कैसो जहांतहां बजाय रिझाय काढे ॥१॥ जहां जाय दृष्टि परेसो कैसें धीर धरे मातापिता पति लाजकी काने ॥ ब्रह्मदास प्रभु मन्मथको मनमथ्यो कौन गने मन्मथराने ॥२॥

मोहि कहा वरजतहो कान्ह क्यों न वरजोरी चितेवौ छाँडे ॥ नयन मोहनीरी मोहन कैसो जहांतहां बजाय रिझाय काढे ॥१॥
“Why do you stop me? Why don't you stop Kanhaiya instead and ask Him to give up His captivating glances? How enchanting are Mohan's eyes! Wherever He goes, He plays His flute, charms everyone, and draws their hearts towards Him.” ॥१॥

जहां जाय दृष्टि परेसो कैसें धीर धरे मातापिता पति लाजकी काने ॥ ब्रह्मदास प्रभु मन्मथको मनमथ्यो कौन गने मन्मथराने ॥२॥
“Whoever comes within the reach of His glance, how can they remain composed or think of the honour of their mother, father, and husband? Brahmadas says, ‘The Lord has captivated even Kamadeva, the god of love himself. Then who could possibly resist His charm?’” ॥२॥
