मोसो क्यों न बोलेरे नंदके लाल तेरो कहा लिये जात ॥ छांडदे अंचलहोतहेगहरूजानतहो ऐसी बाल ॥१॥ बनते आवत कमल फिरावत तापर गावत तान रसाल ॥ धोंधीके प्रभु हाथ दूर राखो टूटेगी मोतिन माल ॥२॥

मोसो क्यों न बोलेरे नंदके लाल तेरो कहा लिये जात ॥  
छांडदे अंचलहोतहेगहरूजानतहो ऐसी बाल ॥१॥
Why do You not speak to me, O Nanda’s Lal? What of Yours am I taking away? Please let go of my garment; You know I am only a yours. ॥१॥

बनते आवत कमल फिरावत तापर गावत तान रसाल ॥  
धोंधीके प्रभु हाथ दूर राखो टूटेगी मोतिन माल ॥२॥
Coming back from the forest, He twirls a lotus in His hand and sings a sweet melody. Dhondhi says: O Prabhu, keep Your hand away, or my pearl necklace will break. ॥२॥

moso kyon na bolere nandake laal tero kahaa liye jaat ||
chhaandade anchalahotahegaharoojaanataho aisee baal ||1||

banate aavat kamal phiraavat taapar gaavat taan rasaal ||
dhondheeke prabhu haath door raakho tootegee motin maal ||2||
