नंदजूकेबारे कान्ह छांडदेमथनियां ॥ बारंबारकहे मातयशोमति नंदरनियां ॥१॥ नेंकरहो माखनदेहों मेरेप्राणधनियां ॥ आरजिनकरो बल गईहौंरहोछनियां ॥२॥ सहस्रआनन गुणगणत उतनवखनियां ॥ सूरस्याममोहे सुरदेखत भूलीगोपधनियां ॥३॥

नंदजूकेबारे कान्ह छांडदेमथनियां ॥ बारंबारकहे मातयशोमति नंदरनियां ॥१॥
“O little Kanha, beloved son of Nandji, let go of the churning rod!” Mother Yashoda, Nandji’s wife, says to Him again and again. ॥१॥

नेंकरहो माखनदेहों मेरेप्राणधनियां ॥ आरजिनकरो बल गईहौंरहोछनियां ॥२॥
“Wait a little, my precious one, dearer to me than life, and I will give you butter. Do not insist, my darling. I would give myself for you. Just wait a moment.” ॥२॥

सहस्रआनन गुणगणत उतनवखनियां ॥ सूरस्याममोहे सुरदेखत भूलीगोपधनियां ॥३॥
Even the thousand-mouthed Sheshnag cannot fully describe His countless virtues. Surdas says that the cowherd woman, Yashoda, is so enchanted by Shyam that, even as the gods look on, she remains unaware of His divine greatness. ॥३॥

soorasyaamamohe suradekhat bhooleegopadhaniyaan ||3||
