निरख सखी नीलांबर को छोर ॥ झूम रह्यो सखी वदन चंदपे आई घटा घनघोर ॥१॥ हंसन लसन दामिनी द्युति बिलसत दशनख चंद चकोर ॥ कृष्णदास प्रभु रूप घटा में मानो नाचत मोर ॥२॥

निरख सखी नीलांबर को छोर ॥ झूम रह्यो सखी वदन चंदपे आई घटा घनघोर ॥१॥
O sakhi, behold the flowing edge of His Neel garment. It sways beautifully around His moon-like face, like a dense dark cloud gathering around the moon. ॥१॥

हंसन लसन दामिनी द्युति बिलसत दशनख चंद चकोर ॥ कृष्णदास प्रभु रूप घटा में मानो नाचत मोर ॥२॥
His smile flashes like lightning, and the radiance of His teeth shines like moonlight. Krishnadas says: within this cloud-like beauty of Prabhu’s form, it seems as though a peacock is dancing. ॥२॥

nirakh sakhee neelaambar ko chhor ||
jhoom rahyo sakhee vadan chandape aaee ghataa ghanaghor ||1||

hansan lasan daaminee dyuti bilasat dashanakh chand chakor ||
krishnadaas prabhu roop ghataa men maano naachat mor ||2||
