पवित्रा पहरत गिरिधरलाल ॥ रुचिर पाटके फोंदना करि करि पहरावत सब बाल ॥१॥ आसपास सब सखा मंडली मानो कमल अलिमाल ॥ कुंभनदास प्रभु त्रिभुवन मोहन गोवर्धनधरलाल ॥२॥

पवित्रा पहरत गिरिधरलाल ॥ रुचिर पाटके फोंदना करि करि पहरावत सब बाल ॥१॥
Giridhar Lal is wearing the pavitra. All the boys dress Him in beautiful cloth bands, each one made with a tassel. ॥१॥

आसपास सब सखा मंडली मानो कमल अलिमाल ॥ कुंभनदास प्रभु त्रिभुवन मोहन गोवर्धनधरलाल ॥२॥
All His companions are gathered around Him, like a row of bees around a lotus. Kumbhandas says, “The Lord, the enchanter of the three worlds, is Giridhar Lal, the lifter of Govardhan.” ॥२॥

pavitraa paharat giridharalaal ||
ruchir paatake phondanaa kari kari paharaavat sab baal ||1||

aasapaas sab sakhaa mandalee maano kamal alimaal ||
kumbhanadaas prabhu tribhuvan mohan govardhanadharalaal ||2||
