पीया पीतांबर मुरली जीती ॥ हाहाकरत न देत लडेंती पांय परत निसबीती ॥१॥ राखी दुराय सघन कुंजनमें ललितादिक रहत सचीती ॥ विठ्ठल विपिन विनोद बिहारीसों प्रगट करत रस रीती ॥२॥

पीया पीतांबर मुरली जीती ॥
हाहाकरत न देत लडेंती पांय परत निसबीती ॥१॥
Pyari has won Piya’s Pitambar and Murali. Ladaiti will not give them back despite His pleading; He remains at Her feet as the night passes. ॥१॥

राखी दुराय सघन कुंजनमें ललितादिक रहत सचीती ॥
She has hidden them away in the dense kunj, while Lalita and the other sakhis carefully keep watch.

विठ्ठल विपिन विनोद बिहारीसों प्रगट करत रस रीती ॥२॥
Vitthal says: through this playful exchange with Vipin Vinod Bihari, the ways of rasa are revealed. ॥२॥
