प्रगट भये तैलंग कुल दीप ॥ श्रीलक्ष्मण भट अति आनंदित सुत मुख निरखत आय समीप ॥१॥ मात इलंमा कूख उदय भयो ज्यों उपजत मुक्ताफल सीप ॥ सगुणदास मुख कहत न आवे यश प्रसर्यो नव खंड सप्त द्वीप ॥२॥

प्रगट भये तैलंग कुल दीप ॥ श्रीलक्ष्मण भट अति आनंदित सुत मुख निरखत आय समीप ॥१॥
The lamp of the Tailang lineage appeared. Shri Lakshman Bhatt, filled with great joy, came near and gazed upon his son’s face. ॥१॥

मात इलंमा कूख उदय भयो ज्यों उपजत मुक्ताफल सीप ॥ सगुणदास मुख कहत न आवे यश प्रसर्यो नव खंड सप्त द्वीप ॥२॥
He arose from Mother Illamma’s womb, just as a pearl is born within an oyster shell. Sagun Das says that His glory cannot be expressed in words; it spread throughout the nine regions and the seven islands. ॥२॥

## Transliteration

pragat bhaye tailang kul deep ||
Shreelakshman bhat ati aanandit sut mukh nirakhat aay sameep ||1||

maat ilammaa kookh uday bhayo jyon upajat muktaaphal seep ||
sagunadaas mukh kahat na aave yash prasaryo nav khand sapt dveep ||2||
