प्रीतम प्यारे नेहौं मोही ॥ नेंकु चितै इत चपल नैन सों कहा कहों ? हौं तोही ॥१॥ कहा री ? कहों मोहिं रह्यौ न भावै जब देखों चित गोही ॥ 'छीत-स्वामी' गिरिधरन निरखिके अपुनी सुधि हों खोही ॥२॥

प्रीतम प्यारे नेहौं मोही ॥ नेंकु चितै इत चपल नैन सों कहा कहों ? हौं तोही ॥१॥
My beloved has enchanted me with His love. He looks at me for just a moment with His playful, restless eyes—what can I say to Him? I am completely captivated by You. ॥१॥

कहा री ? कहों मोहिं रह्यौ न भावै जब देखों चित गोही ॥ 'छीत-स्वामी' गिरिधरन निरखिके अपुनी सुधि हों खोही ॥२॥
“What shall I say, dear one? What can I tell you? I no longer find anything else pleasing. Whenever I see Him, my mind becomes completely absorbed in Him.” Chhit Swami says, “Upon seeing Giridhar, I lose all awareness of myself.” ॥२॥
