पूजन चली री साँझी शुभधरी शुभदिन शुभ महुरत रात ॥ चंचल चपल चपलासी डोलत चंपे जैसौ गात ॥१॥ अपने अपने मंदिर तें निकसी दीप लिऐ सब हाथ ॥ धोंधीके प्रभु तुम बहो नायक सब सखियनके साथ ॥२॥

पूजन चली री साँझी शुभधरी शुभदिन शुभ महुरत रात ॥
चंचल चपल चपलासी डोलत चंपे जैसौ गात ॥१॥
She went to worship Sanjhi, auspiciously established, on an auspicious day, auspicious time, and night. Restless, quick, and playful, she moves with a body like champa ॥१॥

अपने अपने मंदिर तें निकसी दीप लिऐ सब हाथ ॥
धोंधीके प्रभु तुम बहो नायक सब सखियनके साथ ॥२॥
All came out from their own homes, lamps in their hands. Prabhu of Dhondhi, You are a great hero among all the sakhis ॥२॥

poojan chalee ree saanjhee shubhadharee shubhadin shubh mahurat raat ||
chanchal chapal chapalaasee dolat champe jaisau gaat ||1||

apne apne mandir ten nikasee deep liai sab haath ||
dhondheeke prabhu tum baho naayak sab sakhiyanake saath ||2||
