पूत महरको खिरक दोहावत गैया ॥ संध्यासमे बांधे फेंटा गरे गुंजमाल पहेरे तनिया ठाडे हें अधपैया ॥१॥ कोंधनी बनी हाथ हसंतातर रूप मोहनी मदन हरैया ॥ रसिक प्रीतम की बानिक निरखत लीजे रीझ बलैया ॥२॥

पूत महरको खिरक दोहावत गैया ॥ संध्यासमे बांधे फेंटा गरे गुंजमाल पहेरे तनिया ठाडे हें अधपैया ॥१॥ The son of Nanda is milking the cows in the cattle enclosure. At evening time, He wears a cloth tied around His waist, a garland of gunja berries around His neck, and a garment upon His body, standing with one foot slightly raised. ॥१॥

कोंधनी बनी हाथ हसंतातर रूप मोहनी मदन हरैया ॥ रसिक प्रीतम की बानिक निरखत लीजे रीझ बलैया ॥२॥ A beautiful milking vessel is in His hand, and His smiling face is so enchanting that it captivates even Kamadeva, the god of love. Behold the charming ways of this beloved Lord, delight in Him, and lovingly offer yourself to Him. ॥२॥

poot maharako khirak dohaavat gaiyaa ||
sandhyaasame baandhe phentaa gare gunjamaal pahere taniyaa thaade hen adhapaiyaa ||1||

kondhanee banee haath hasantaatar roop mohanee madan haraiyaa ||
rasik preetam kee baanik nirakhat leeje reejh balaiyaa ||2||
