राखी बांधत यशोदा मैया ॥ बहु शृंगार सजे आभूषण गिरिधर भैया ॥१॥ रत्नखचित राखी बांधि कर पुनपुन लेत बलैया ॥ सकल भोग आगें धर राखे तनकजु लेहु कन्हैया ॥२॥ यह छबि देख मग्न नंदरानी निरख निरख सचुपैया ॥ जीयो यशोदा पूत तिहारो परमानंद बलजैया ॥३॥

राखी बांधत यशोदा मैया | Rakhi Bandhat Yashoda Maiya

राखी बांधत यशोदा मैया ॥
बहु शृंगार सजे आभूषण गिरिधर भैया ॥१॥
Mother Yashoda ties the rakhi. Giridhar Bhaiya is beautifully adorned with many kinds of shringar and ornaments. ॥१॥

रत्नखचित राखी बांधि कर पुनपुन लेत बलैया ॥
सकल भोग आगें धर राखे तनकजु लेहु कन्हैया ॥२॥
Having tied the jewel-studded rakhi upon His wrist, she lovingly wards away all harm from Him again and again. She places every kind of bhog before Him and says, “Kanhaiya, please take a little.” ॥२॥

यह छबि देख मग्न नंदरानी निरख निरख सचुपैया ॥
जीयो यशोदा पूत तिहारो परमानंद बलजैया ॥३॥
Beholding this beautiful sight, Nandarani is absorbed in joy, gazing upon Him again and again in wonder. “Yashoda, may your son live long!” Paramanand offers himself in devotion. ॥३॥

raakhee baandhat Yashodaa maiyaa ||
bahu shringaar saje aabhooshan Giridhar bhaiyaa ||1||

ratnakhachit raakhee baandhi kar punapun let balaiyaa ||
sakal bhog aagen dhar raakhe tanakaju lehu kanhaiyaa ||2||

yah chhabi dekh magn nandaraanee nirakh nirakh sachupaiyaa ||
jeeyo Yashodaa poot tihaaro paramaanand balajaiyaa ||3||
