रंग भरे दोऊ अंग मिलावत बैठें सुरंग हिंडोरे आये ॥ तेसीय कसूंभी सारी तेसीय पाग भारी तेसोई सुरंग पिछोरा हँसत उठत बिच गाई ॥१॥ जब हेरत ओरन की दिस तें डरपन की मिस तान चुकाई ॥ 'रसिक' प्रीतम पिय प्यारी की छबि ऐसी मिलि हे सहेज सुभाई ॥२॥

रंग भरे दोऊ अंग | Rang Bhare Dou Ang

रंग भरे दोऊ अंग मिलावत बैठें सुरंग हिंडोरे आये ॥
The two, filled with joy, sit close together upon the beautifully coloured hindoro. ॥

तेसीय कसूंभी सारी तेसीय पाग भारी तेसोई सुरंग पिछोरा हँसत उठत बिच गाई ॥१॥
The safflower-coloured sari, the splendid pag, and the beautifully coloured pichhora all match; smiling, they rise together and sing. ॥१॥

जब हेरत ओरन की दिस तें डरपन की मिस तान चुकाई ॥
When they turn to look toward the others, they use the mirror as a pretext and bring their sung phrase to an end. ॥

'रसिक' प्रीतम पिय प्यारी की छबि ऐसी मिलि हे सहेज सुभाई ॥२॥
Rasik says: such is the natural beauty of Piya and Pyari as they appear together. ॥२॥

rang bhare dooo ang milaavat baithen surang hindore aaye ||
teseey kasoombhee saaree teseey paag bhaaree tesoee surang pichhoraa hansat uthat bich gaaee ||1||

jab herat oran kee dis ten darapan kee mis taan chukaaee ||
'rasik' preetam piy pyaaree kee chhabi aisee mili he sahej subhaaee ||2||
