रिमझिम रिमझिम बरखत मेह तरु तर ठाढे प्रितम प्यारी ॥ लालन सिर सोहे पाग लाल लटकि रहि लाडिली के अंग बनी लाल सुभग सारी ॥१॥ अंसन बाहु दिये मिलवत हिये सों हिये दंपति परसपर सोभा देति अति भारी ॥ 'नंददास' ज्यों कारी घटा में चमकि परी बिजुरी की अनुहारी ॥२॥

रिमझिम रिमझिम बरखत मेह तरु तर ठाढे प्रितम प्यारी ॥
लालन सिर सोहे पाग लाल लटकि रहि लाडिली के अंग बनी लाल सुभग सारी ॥१॥
As the rain falls softly in a gentle drizzle, Pritam and Pyari stand beneath the tree. A lovely red turban shines upon Lal’s head, and upon Ladili’s form rests a beautiful red sari. ॥१॥

अंसन बाहु दिये मिलवत हिये सों हिये दंपति परसपर सोभा देति अति भारी ॥
'नंददास' ज्यों कारी घटा में चमकि परी बिजुरी की अनुहारी ॥२॥
With their arms resting upon one another’s shoulders, and their hearts joined closely, the divine pair greatly enhance one another’s beauty. Nanddas says: they appear like lightning flashing within a dark raincloud. ॥२॥

rimajhim rimajhim barakhat meh taru tar thaadhe pritam pyaaree ||
laalan sir sohe paag laal lataki rahi laadilee ke ang banee laal subhag saaree ||1||

ansan baahu diye milavat hiye son hiye dampati parasapar sobhaa deti ati bhaaree ||
'nandadaas' jyon kaaree ghataa men chamaki paree bijuree kee anuhaaree ||2||
